Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Cayanide Labs when you buy a template licence, a deployment, a maintenance plan or hardware from us.

1. Acceptance

By using cayanidelabs.store or buying anything from us, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Your account

  • You must give accurate information and keep it up to date
  • You are responsible for everything done under your account, so keep your password to yourself
  • Tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised
  • One person or organisation per account; do not share logins
  • You must be at least 18 years old

We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless doing so would compromise an investigation.

3. What we sell

4. Template licence terms

When you buy a template you are buying a licence to use it, not ownership of it. What that licence permits depends on the tier you bought.

All tiers allow you to

  • Use the template for the number of projects your tier permits
  • Modify the source files however you like
  • Deploy to any host you choose
  • Keep using it indefinitely, including after a subscription ends

No tier allows you to

  • Resell, redistribute or sublicense the template files themselves, modified or not
  • Publish the source on a public repository or template marketplace
  • Share your download credentials or entitlement with anyone outside your organisation
  • Use it to build a competing template or website-builder product
The simple version: build as many sites for yourself and your clients as your tier allows, and charge whatever you like for that work. Just do not sell the template itself to someone else.
Breach. If we find a licence has been redistributed, we may revoke it without refund. Downloads are logged against your entitlement, and releases carry identifying markers.

Updates

Your licence includes access to template updates released during your entitlement period. We may retire a template from sale at any time; if we do, you keep your licence and your access to existing releases.

5. Deployment services

Where you buy a deployment add-on, we configure and launch your site on infrastructure you nominate or that we provide.

  • You must give us the access, domain control and content we need. We cannot start until you do, and delays on your side move the timeline.
  • We will tell you the expected timeline up front and keep you updated if it changes.
  • You own your content, your domain and your data. We claim nothing over them.
  • Third-party costs such as domain registration and hosting are yours unless expressly included in what you bought.
  • After handover, the site is yours to run unless you also have an active Cayanide Care plan.

6. Subscriptions

Cayanide Care plans renew automatically until you cancel, billed monthly or annually through a Razorpay e-mandate you authorise at signup.

  • We email you before every renewal with the amount and the date
  • You can cancel at any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for
  • We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days' notice, and you can cancel before it takes effect
  • If a payment fails we will retry and notify you; after repeated failures the plan is suspended

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Hardware

  • Risk passes to you on delivery; title passes once payment clears in full
  • Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on our shipping partners
  • Warranty is provided by the manufacturer on the terms stated on your invoice
  • Inspect your delivery on arrival and report damage or shortfall within 48 hours

8. Pricing, tax and payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and shown inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise
  • We issue a GST-compliant tax invoice for every order; supply GSTIN at checkout if you need input credit
  • Digital products and services carry SAC codes; hardware carries HSN codes
  • Payment is taken at checkout through Razorpay; orders are not confirmed until payment succeeds
  • We may correct a price shown in error before dispatch or delivery, and you may cancel for a full refund if we do

9. Acceptable use

You must not use our services or anything bought from us to:

  • Break any applicable law
  • Host or distribute malware, phishing pages, or fraudulent content
  • Infringe someone else's intellectual property
  • Send unsolicited bulk email
  • Attack, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or anyone else's
  • Scrape or automate against our site in a way that degrades it for others

We may suspend service immediately for a serious breach of this section.

10. Intellectual property

The Cayanide Labs name, logo, site and template source remain ours. Buying a licence grants the rights in section 4 and nothing beyond them.

Your content stays yours. By asking us to deploy it, you grant us only the limited permission needed to host and configure it on your behalf, and that permission ends when the engagement does.

Templates may include third-party open-source components under their own licences, listed in the release. Those licences govern those components.

11. Warranties and liability

We warrant that our services will be performed with reasonable skill and care, and that templates will materially match their published description.

Beyond that, services are provided "as is". We do not warrant that a template will suit a purpose we have not described, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability cap. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product or service the claim relates to, in the 12 months before it arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Back up your data. We keep backups of systems we manage, but you are responsible for your own copies of your content.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, do not pay, or use the service unlawfully.

On termination, perpetual template licences you have already paid for survive, unless they were revoked for breach under section 4. Sections 10, 11 and 13 also survive.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
